It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year ...
So much has happened since I was last posting anything on here. It feels like a decade.
The last thing that I posted about was climbing Slieve Donard, well the crazy thing is that a whirl wind of fun happened.
Back in March I found out that I was pregnant (thanks to Clomid) unfortunately on Friday 6th May I found out that the baby's heartbeat had stopped. Needless to say the collective family heart was broken in two. fast forward (well it seemed to be going at a mile an hour) 3 months and on Tuesday 16th of August i pee'd on a stick and voila 2 pink lines! This was a massive shock for us as we were going to see my consultant that day to talk about options and shocked even him. One thing that was completely amazing was that there was no medication required for this little monkey.
anyway I was offered a scan for reassurance purposes and due to other problems i ended up having a scan nearly every week so here is what they looked like from the beginning.

At our 20 weeks scan we found out that our little bundle is in perfect health but also that we are having a GIRL!!! Unfortunately for the scanner (not us) Skittle decided to be awkward so some measurements weren't able to be had so back in January for another look at our little girl.
Needless to say we are thrilled to be having a little girl being added to the family. Mr Fairy did the rocky pose (when he gets to the top of the steps and throws his arms in the air) when we left the hospital. He was rooting for Pink 👶🍼💖.
Here's a really cute youtube video with the baby's development - I love it.
