Happy 2019 Everyone!
Hey guys!
How can it be January 1st already?
It seems like a blink of the eye it was just the start of 2018 and I was waiting for Mattias to be born and here I am and he's 9 months, pulling himself up and trying to walk!!! Time really does pass so fast.
This past year has been difficult for getting my workouts done due to my health, I've been more consistent since September and I can honestly say that the workouts are paying off. But what has that got to do with you guys reading this post?
It could mean everything ... but it could also mean nothing - what do I mean by that? Well it's this, simply put it could give you the motivation to get off your bum and move or it could make you shrug your shoulders and not give two hoots. It's up to you what it makes you do.
In January 2015 I drastically changed my food to help me lose weight with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)
and that basically meant, for me, that it was really difficult to lose weight. It wasn't as simple as eat less move more ... It did get to that point with me when I had given up and I ate whatever I wanted to. I lost 7 stone, went down 6 dress sizes and was able to get pregnant.
WHAT? you say how did that help? ... it helped because with the loss of weight, it meant that my hormones started to regulate themselves, it increased the chances of my ovaries finally working and it also meant that, well I wasn't massive anymore. I felt healthier, I looked healthier and I WAS healthier. I found eating takeouts made me feel sick because of the heaviness and greasiness of the food. Which is a very good thing!!! meant that I stayed away from the chip shop!
So what is the plan this year?
Since having Master Fairy no.2 I have lost a lot of weight but I'm still not in my happy body zone and to get to that place is going to take hard, hard work. SO before you make the decision to start know that there will be days that you want to give up. You will be sitting at your friends house and sometimes they won't understand and they'll put treats in front of you and you will have to kindly decline because actually, those things will make you feel worse (I mean physically, not a pang of mental guilt, there should never be guilt over what you eat!)
Don't let that put you off, it does get easier. Once you say "no thank you!" once it becomes so much easier and you will be feeling so proud of yourself that you put your body first before your stomach.
A thing that makes losing weight and getting fit and healthy is making a PLAN!!!!
Plan your workouts, plan your meals,
plan your treats - what day will you have your treat and what will it be - a meal or a dessert?
If you Fail to Plan you Plan to Fail - Don't let yourself down by not knowing what you are going to do, if you slip up draw a line in the sand and start again.

I'm planning from Tomorrow (2nd January) to go back to normal with my foods and treats and I am PLANNING everything!!! once
you have got yourself back into a routine it gets easier (i still write down my meals and workouts)
take your pictures, measurements and weight and keep a record of that so you can take them 2 weeks or a month later again and compare -DON'T GIVE UP!!!
