New decade with new opportunities

The last decade saw me at my heaviest - 19 stone, it also saw me at my lightest (11 stone 12 pounds)

I had Jonathan, I got married, I miscarried 5 times, I lost 7 stone major abdominal surgery and went on to have 2 more children (via section).  There was so much more in there that would take so long to actually go through but those are the main things that stick out for me.

I am determined, motivated and ready to smash through this plateaux that I have been going through with myself.  I know that it can be hard to keep the motivation going and suddenly it can hit you that you need to reign it in ... that happened me last night.  It may just be bloat, it may be that I have eaten my weight in rubbish food this Christmas (and I don’t normally) but I went to put on my jeans and I couldn’t button them - it was a wake up call for sure that if I don’t stop it now  I could so easily gain the weight back and then have a harder hill to climb later.  It will not happen - I promise you guys.

That being said I have laid out my plan of what I will be doing. Tomorrow (I’m away all day today and probably won’t be able to make the best food choices) I will be starting FAST800 until my husband and I go to England for the weekend and then I will be back on it when we come back.  I will then move to the 5:2 or 4:3 dependant on how I’m getting on.  I will be cutting out sugar, dairy, salt, caffeine and refined carbs again.  With PCOS these things are the devil.  I will allow myself a treat day every week - Sunday was the day i chose before and I think I will go back to that one again.

My workouts ... well you guys know how much I love my insanity workouts.  I’m starting the year with Max30 and WHEN not if I finish this I will progress to either Insanity or asylum. I love love love the insanity family of workouts.  They really push me and I got my best results with them, I will probably also throw in some extra bits too - if you want to keep up to date with it all you can find it on @laburnett11 on Instagram or Fitness Fairy Godmother on Facebook

Let’s use this new year and decade to work towards being healthy - Mentally as well as physically, let’s do it together.  In a world that wants to tear people down and to shame them, let’s uplift and encourage and help each other.  Let us be the change we want to see in the world.

Who’s with me?
