Are You Worth It????

Hi my little fairies, I'm sorry I've been MIA for a while ... I think I missed a blog post.

Thought I'd update you all on what's been going on.

A few weeks ago I felt very unwell - dizzy, headaches, cramping .... lots of scrappy symptoms to be honest. I left it for just over a week and had enough so went to the doctors... if you know me at all I hate the doctors. Anyway I went and was in and out in seconds but then I had to wait to be seen in the treatment room. Had to have a few routine checkups and some bloods. I decided I'd ask for a day 21 test (this particular test is one that shows if you have ovulated) I just blurted it out, why ... I have no idea as I had no ovulation in over 2 years!!!!

The doctor was lovely and she agreed to let me get this test done, she explained that if there was no elevation then it wouldn't give me the answer that I hoped to find and if it was elevated over a certain digit i would have had a successful ovulation.

Two days later I called for the results ... I ovulated! This is a massive thing, a huge thing for myself and Mr Fairy as well as Master Fairy.

For those of you who have PCOS or know anyone who does and you have stopped ovulation then look at your weight. Are you carrying excess weight? Then can I give you a little piece of advice? Lose weight! I know it is so hard to lose it with this condition, it requires dedication, it requires cutting out certain things that you love to eat, it involves sacrifice and a good work out regime.

But I will tell you this it is worth it!

I have been working my butt off since August and it is paying off. I'm nowhere near where I want to be, I'm.probably a third there at the minute with my 3 stone, but I am a work in progress!

I believe that you can do it, than you can give your body the fighting chance that it deserves. I believe that you can achieve your goals, the ones you set out for yourself. The big goals, the small goals and the in between goals.

They are achievable, the are within your grasp... do you want them? I mean really really want them? Is there anything else that you want more?

Cause this journey will be tough, it requires blood, sweat and tears (of frustration mostly) but by golly when you reach those goals it is all worth it.

Those times when you said no to that piece of cake, or you turned down the invitation to have a Chinese and cooked healthy food from scratch instead, even though your body craved it - it's all worth it.

You need to decide for yourself -
Are you worth it?
Are you willing to put in the hard work?
Are you going to persevere even when things are tough?
Are you going to make great decisions?
Are you ready to work your butt of and sweat and smell as well as look gross?

If you answered those questions with a resounding YES! Then welcome to the club, welcome to the group of people who care about their health and are striving to be a better, stronger and healthier version of yourself ...

I'm part of that group are you?
