Chocolate and your goals
Today is Easter Sunday.
I don't know about you but our house has 6 Easter eggs and there's only 1 kid!!!
Too much chocolate!!!
Today I'm allowing myself the no guilt, overeating of chocolate. I promise I won't feel bad for eating it. At the minute I have my cup of tea (thought I'd really splurge and have normal tea with dairy milk- I know I'm a rebel hehe) and there is a big pasta bowl filled with chocolate ... it's so tempting and I'm enjoying every glorious mouthful.
I even did a blind taste test with Mr.Fairy to see if it was Cadburys or Nestle ... I know me I love the Cadburys chocolate. The way it melts as soon as you put it in your mouth and how velvety it is, and as it melts how it slides down the throat. Yummy! Delicious! Treat time!
What's your favourite chocolate to eat?
Cadburys, Nestle, Lindt????
Hehe I feel bad writing about my love for chocolate on my blog which is supposed to be for fitness and healthy living ... I'm not saying that chocolate is bad but I am saying everything in moderation.
I eat chocolate during the week but it's 74% dark chocolate and I love it ... probably more than milk ... a few months ago I would have said milk chocolate all the way but now my body is changing on what it wants.
I want the healthier wholesome foods and if I have the stodgy heavy fried and unhealthy foods my body is sluggish and I feel lethargic. It's amazing what a change in what you eat can do for you.
I get asked quite a lot how to start eating healthier - my tip?
Start simple. Don't go drastic with it. Cut out one thing at a time and each week or every 2 weeks take away something else.
I love smoothies they are not only delicious but healthy too ... have you tried any yet? I love my greensmoothie for lunch. It gives me the kick off need between breakfast and dinner and it is loaded with nutrients.
What do you think you'll cut out this week?
Do you need to?
What is your downfall?
What could you work on with your eating habits?
How has your exercise been this week?
I started T25, I've been really enjoying it. Something I think is great with it is that you are told what the next move is before you begin and Shaun-T shows you how to do it, and if you need to Tania shows a modified version.
I will admit that I do a mixture of both depending on how my right knee feels as I'm doing it. I'm very grateful that a modification is available.
But ... as a few of my friends have said to me I have pressed play, I have given my best to the workout - I've brought my 'A' game, and I've completed them with a smile on my face.
Yes I said it , a smile hehe. Do you do your workout with a smile?
Do you feel like you have accomplished something?
Are you proud of where you have come from?
Do you have a goal?
Start with an ultimate goal (mine is to be a size 10/12) but to get there I set smaller goals ... to get down to the next lowest size, to complete a workout program to lose 7lbs ... make the small, achievable and realistic. If they aren't you will find it hard to maintain.
I believe that you guys can do this, I believe in every one of your journeys. I believe you can set yourself great goals and achieve those goals, and I know once you're there you will be so proud of yourselves ... ill be proud too
