Let's Go Back To The Beginning ....

Let's Talk TRANSFORMATION

I know, I know I am really awful at posting over the summer months BUT master fairy is back at school and I am able to give you guys an update on what has occured over the summer.

I think that one of the biggest things for me over the summer (aside from my beautiful niece being born) was the 11th August marked a FULL YEAR of working out.
Can I just say that I am so thrilled that I made that decision. It really has completely changed my life.

Here are the pictures ... I hope you agree with me that they are shocking!!!
BTW look away now if you don't want to see them. They are taken in my underwear.

I love this picture because it proves that it can be seen just from the face!!!

I love how much my stomach has gone down, it probably would be me problem area to be honest and will take a lot of effort to get it looking toned and flat ... goal????
You can also see a massive change in my back too!

this just shows you how much my stomach has gone down, its a great improvement and I am so proud of myself for doing this.

my back flabby bits are so much smaller as is my bum along with my shoulders and area around my bra straps.

I think these pictures show you that with a lot of hard work and determination you can achieve amazing results (even if I do say so myself!)

I'm down 67.5lbs since January too .... LOVE IT

people ask me why I do it and honestly -

so I can look in the mirror and be happy with what I see,
so I can put on a pair of jeans or dress and think 'yea you look good!'
so I can enjoy being me.

When you think about it, it's pretty simple.  I was fed up being fat or clinically obese, i wanted to change myself. I didn't want to get any bigger, or buy clothes or go out of the house.  I also wanted to give myself the chance of a pregnancy, I wanted to try and lessen my PCOS symptoms and honestly - be healthy.

How did i do it is another question I get asked -

I tailored my food to my health problems - PCOS and I went from there.

I eat healthy food that is fresh and yummy.

I stay away from bread though - it causes awful pains in my stomach so I found a very yummy bread ... porridge bread. It tastes like wheaten bread so I'm in love with it .

I swapped out my simple carbs with complex carbs,
I took out caffeine (I found that I didn't need it to be honest)
I cut out sugar (so i get it naturally from fruit or vegetables)
I cut out salt (I dont add it into anything)
also dairy, I would maybe have a yoghurt and also I love ice-cream so treat day !!!!

Do I feel like I'm not enjoying my food?
No way, I love the way my body craves healthiness, it still longs for chips when I smell them. but I love freshly made tabbouleh. I love super noodles so i would have half a packet with a little bread - delicious

There are some things that now make me feel a little sick when I eat them because they may be too creamy. As a result I would have just a taste of it so I get that little craving out of the way.

as for the scales well .... I didnt change my eating habits till january and i am so thrilled with how i've been getting on. I weigh weekly on a friday and I aim for between 1lb and 2lbs.  I think this is achievable and it means i have something to work towards.

what else do i do?

I drink at least 3 litres of water a day (I don't count my peppermint tea in this)
i set Goals

I make them achievable
I make them sustainable
I make them Manageable
I make them small
I work towards them in a healthy and satisfying way.
I do my workouts 5-6 days a week (I'm doing Insanity the Asylum at the minute)

what do you need to do?

look at your food - is it good? do you need to rethink a few things?
look at your water intake
what are your workouts like?
are you deterined?
do you really want to do it?
are you doing it for you?
------ this one is so important because you cant do it for anyone but you, you wont be able to sustain it and it is so important that you do because you will fall into the yoyo cycle.

I believe that you can do it.
I believe that you have the determination within you to transform yourself into the newer, healthier and happier self.

what's putting you off?
