inspiration ....
Cravings ...
Do you ever have them?
I did ... big style this week. I didn't have a great food week and was so lax in what I ate.
I treated myself beyond what I normally do ... and I felt guilty.
I felt like I was a big fatso and that I should have done better. Should I? Probably
For those of you who have been with me since my exercise regime in August know I live Jillian Michaels. She is awesome. She helped me fall in love with working out and accepting the fact that I can change myself and become a healthier and happier individual.
But didn't I already know that? Yes I did, sometimes though it takes a completely random person through the television, internet or social media to give you the push that you need. For me it was Jillian Michaels who first inspired me.
Now? Oh the list is endless. There are so many people that are constantly inspiring me to push further to try something hard and to succeed. That is important.
I urge all you guys to get people who inspire you and who support your goals to encircle you and to keep you motivated. Sometimes it will be upsetting when your friends and family in your everyday life don't support you and tell you that you are obsessed or silly or just downright berate you. That's the time that those support groups are great, they all rally around you ... I've seen it with other people, and I've seen it with me.
I did a project in my own inspired by @fitgirlsguide on instagram where she urged her followers to do a goal heart. These hearts are specific to the person who does them and they layout all the goals that you want to accomplish in 2015.
This is mine. The goals that I am working to achieve. I know it really helped me to take that time to think about what it was I wanted to achieve for me... for myself. Not for anyone else because that's the thing, this fitness program that you or I am doing ... It's for no-one else but YOU.
Ask your self
- what is going to make you happy?
- what are you wanting to achieve?
- what do you want to happen?
-are you willing to push for it?
- are you ready to sweat for it?
- cry for it?
- hate it but love it at the same time?
- are you ready to see results?
- to see your body change?
If you were able to answer those honestly and truthfully with a resounding YES! Then let's start or let's persevere if your already on your journey. Let's make 2015 the best year for us physically. And if you had a bad week food wise (like I did) don't beat yourself up, take a second, breathe and jump straight back in.
Progress comes from moving forward not from stopping.
